NOAS Level 1 Technical Offical Training Program

Welcome - How to Use the Course - Buttons

Welcome! This National Officiating Accreditation Scheme (NOAS) online course will prepare you for officiating at sanctioned triathlon events.

This course is not designed to be difficult. You can access the Race Competition Rules (RCR) at any stage, including during completion of the test, and you will no doubt find your local officials very happy to help you achieve your goal!

Enjoy being an important part of
Triathlon events!

How to use this Training Program

Initially, use the Next buttons at the bottom of each page to move through the course in a methodical way.

Once you have completed the course you may want to revisit areas to refresh your knowledge before attempting the test. The naviagation buttons at the top of the pages will take you where you choose.

The test is open-book (access to the Race Competition Rules is allowed), however make sure you have a very good working knowledge of the requirements of a Technical Official before completing the questions to ensure your success. Knowing the Race Competition Rules is most important as you will need to recall them rapidly and accurately when officiating during an event.

Once you have finished this online program there are just a few steps to take before your appointment. These are discussed in greater detail on the Finish Line page. Don't forget, you are able to turn to others for any assistance you require along the way.
